First Stage has become a popular and successful training ground for budding Musical Theatre performers. Through our weekly sessions youngsters can learn all aspects stage craft, including acting, singing, movement and dance in an informal and fun atmosphere. The group is lead by a team of volunteers from IODS who aim to stage an annual showcase of the children’s work at the end of the summer term. We meet on Monday evenings at Ipswich Labour Club (Silent Street) from 7pm to 8pm for 7 to 11 year olds and from 8.15pm to 9.15pm for 12 to 16 year olds.

This year’s end of year show takes place at Henley Community Centre on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th July.
